The death of a woman killed after falling off a downtown hotel ledge has been deemed accidental, police say.
The woman broke a window on the seventh storey of a room she was staying in with her boyfriend at the Fairmont Palliser hotel Sunday night after 8 p.m., police said.
The Alberta woman, in her mid 20s, was rushed to hospital in critical condition but died Monday evening.
Fire crews used an aerial ladder unit to help rescue the woman.
Police said the death is not suspicious and have ruled it accidental.
Alcohol may have been a factor.
